  1. Question, what Kroger do you shop at? I live in vermilion and have been trying to find matchups that are close to what Sandusky runs. Would love to get these deals if they are the same but don't want to waste the trip if their not. And would you possibly know about the Sandusky stores doubling policy? I don't usually shop there but they sure run better deals than our giant eagle.

  2. I typically shop at Kroger in Hebron, sometimes Heath or Reynoldsburg/Central Ohio. I'm not sure of the Vermillion/Sandusky area but you can call whatever store is closest to you and ask them their policy. So many stores are different from eachother. My store allows 5 "like" coupons per transaction and they're usually good about letting you do multiple transactions, however Pataskala only allows 1 transaction so you pretty much have to go out and come back in. In Nashville they only doubled 50c coupons where my store will double a 99c coupon. So many variations wherever you go. It's best to just call and ask, and sometimes when you're at a new store it's best to double check at the customer service desk. Here are a few general rules of thumb I use:
    - I read several blogs myself and when I get to the store the prices are totally different when I get there, which is very frustrating so I don't always trust what I read online.
-If your store doubles .75c coupons, take note of some of the higher value coupons that come in the paper and just do a price check while you're in the store. A .75c coupon is worth $1.50 off, many times you'll find your own great deals that aren't advertised anywhere else.
-keep a close eye on your local ad and always look for close outs and if they have a clearance section. (I got free toothpaste last night when I hit the clearance rack :)
